Want to go PARK(ing)?
At a bare minimum PARK(ing) is pretty easy. Feed the meter, lay some sod, PARK yourself and enjoy the view.
Here’s a few other things to consider before you decide to go PARK(ing) in Columbus.

10am – 7PM (Give or take an hour on either end)
Where:
Downtown (Broad, 3rd, and Gay Streets) and in the Short North. If you have a specific, preferred
location, please let us know. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Select a theme:
Here are a few ideas we came up with. We welcome designs that reflect these and other ideas:
- Shakespeare in the PARK(ing) spot
- Edible Garden – Have your park and eat it too!
- La Playa PARK – Feel the sand between your toes and listen to the gentle rhythm of the waves crashing…
- Put Put PARK(ing) – Design a hole with a Columbus theme!
- Stitch n’ Bitch - Can you hear the needles knockin’?
- The Lap of Luxury – Chandeliers and Champagne flutes?
- Bike-propelled Smoothie Stand
- Streetside Library
- Playground

Register: If you're interested in PARK(ing) with us, please send us the following information by August 24th. The name of your PARK(ing) group and/or supporting community or arts organization, Contact information (email, cell phone, street address), Sponsor (If you have one. Permits and Fees for each space will be approximately $50), Theme/idea for your park, Preferred PARK(ing) location. We will send you an information packet with more information and guidelines on PARK(ing) in Columbus.
